How to Sync Your Blackbaud Schedule to Gipper

Learn how to copy the iCal link for your Blackbaud athletics schedule and connect it to Gipper AutoCreate, so your schedule graphics build automatically.

How It Works

If your school keeps its athletics schedule in Blackbaud, you can connect it to Gipper once and stop typing games into schedule graphics by hand. Blackbaud gives you an iCal link, which is a live feed of your schedule. Paste that link into Gipper, and AutoCreate pulls in your games and uses them to build your game day, daily schedule, and weekly schedule graphics.

Because the link is live, changes you make in Blackbaud (new games, time changes, reschedules) carry over to Gipper on their own, with nothing to re-download or re-import.

Copy Your iCal Link from Blackbaud

If your school's website shows your athletics schedule, you can copy a link from there instead, with no login needed.

1. Go to your school's website and open the athletics schedule page.
2. Click the "subscribe" icon at the top of the calendar. 
   
3. Next to All Public Team Calendars, click the green iCal button. To connect one team only, use the iCal button next to that team's calendar instead.
   
4. Click Get Standard iCal URL.
   
5. Copy the link shown under Copy the following URL.
   

Add the Link to Gipper

1. In Gipper, click AutoCreate in the left sidebar, then open the Calendars tab.
2. Click Add iCal under Personal (visible just to you) or Workspace (visible to everyone in your Workspace; Admins only).
3. Name your calendar (for example, "All Athletics"), paste your Arbiter link, and click Continue.
4. Preview your events, then click Add events.
