Table of Contents
Personal vs. Workspace Calendars
The Calendars tab (found in AutoCreate > Calendars) lists your connected calendars in two sections:
- Workspace calendars are visible to every user in your Workspace. Only Workspace Admins can add or delete them.
- Personal calendars are visible only to you. Anyone can add and manage their own.
Each calendar in the list shows its name and when it was last synced. Looking to connect a new calendar? See our article on Autocreate: Add an iCal URL.
Refresh a Calendar
Refreshing pulls the latest version of your schedule from the source. When you refresh, Gipper:
- Updates any existing events that changed in your calendar feed
- Adds any new events since the last sync
- Removes any events that no longer exist in the calendar
- Updates the "Last refreshed" date on the calendar
To refresh:
- Go to AutoCreate > Calendars.
- Find the calendar you want to refresh.
- Click Refresh calendar on the right.
That's all there is to it. Every user can refresh any calendar, so if a coach spots an outdated event, they can fix it without waiting on an Admin.
Automatic Refreshes
You don't need to refresh manually to stay current. Gipper automatically refreshes all connected calendars on a regular basis so your events are always up to date.
Automatic refreshes work exactly like manual ones: changed events update, new events are added, removed events disappear, and the "Last refreshed" date updates.
Delete a Calendar
Deleting a calendar removes the sync and deletes all of its events from AutoCreate.
- Go to AutoCreate > Calendars.
- Click the three-dot menu to the right of the calendar.
- Click Delete calendar.
- Confirm in the pop-up.

Fixing Sync Issues
A calendar shows an error icon in the Events tab filter. Something went wrong syncing that calendar. The quickest fix is to disconnect and reconnect it: delete the calendar from the Calendars tab, then add the same iCal URL again. (See our article on Autocreate: Add an iCal URL.)
"There was an issue refreshing your calendar." If a refresh fails, wait a moment and try again. If the problem keeps happening, contact our support team and we'll dig in with you.
Events aren't matching my actual schedule. First, click Refresh calendar to force a fresh sync. If events are still off, check the schedule in your source platform (Arbiter, BigTeams, etc.). AutoCreate displays exactly what the iCal feed provides, so the fix usually lives at the source.
