How to Sync Your Arbiter Schedule to Gipper

Connect Arbiter to Gipper with an iCal link, and your games and events flow into AutoCreate automatically, always up to date, with nothing to re-type.

How It Works

If your school's schedules live in Arbiter (ArbiterSports), you never have to type a game into Gipper again. Arbiter can hand you an iCal link, which is a live feed of your schedule. You paste that link into Gipper once, and from then on every game and event syncs into AutoCreate on its own, ready for your graphics and updated whenever your schedule changes. Setup takes just a few minutes.

 

Copy Your iCal Link from Arbiter

If You Manage Your School's Arbiter Account

Most athletic directors have access to their school's Arbiter account, and can generate one feed that covers the entire schedule:

  1. Log in to your Arbiter account.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Click iCal Feed.
  4. On the right side, choose what to include in your feed. To capture your full schedule, include All Games, plus Events, Tournaments, or Practices if you'd like those too.
  5. Use the Filter options to narrow the feed if needed: by status (all or published games only), by team, or by game type (all, home, or away).
  6. Click Create Feed.
  7. Click Copy to copy your iCal link.

 

Gipper Tip!

  • Arbiter's interface may vary slightly depending on your account type. If you don't see the iCal Feed option, check with your Arbiter administrator or contact Arbiter support.
     
  • One school-wide feed is the simplest way to get every event into Gipper. If you want to filter your AutoCreate timeline by team later, separate feeds per team give you cleaner calendar filters.

 

Get a Team Schedule from ArbiterLive

Don't have access to your school's Arbiter account? You can still get a schedule feed for individual teams:

  1. Go to arbiterlive.com and sign up for a free account.
  2. Search for your school.
  3. Follow the team(s) you want.
  4. When you follow a team, choose the option to have an iCal link for that team's schedule emailed to you.
  5. Copy the link from the email.

 

Add the Link to Gipper

  1. In Gipper, click AutoCreate in the left sidebar, then open the Calendars tab.
  2. Click Add iCal under Personal (visible just to you) or Workspace (visible to everyone in your Workspace; Admins only).
  3. Name your calendar (for example, "All Athletics"), paste your Arbiter link, and click Continue.
  4. Preview your events, then click Add events.

Gipper Tip!

  •  Your iCal link is a live feed, so schedule changes in Arbiter sync to Gipper automatically. You can also click Refresh calendar in Gipper anytime for an instant update.
