How to Sync Your Eventlink Schedule to Gipper

Connect Eventlink to Gipper with an iCal link, and your games and events flow into AutoCreate automatically, always up to date, with nothing to re-type.

How It Works

If your district uses Eventlink for its athletics calendar, you never have to type a game into Gipper again. Eventlink can hand you an iCal link, which is a live feed of your schedule. You paste that link into Gipper once, and from then on every game and event syncs into AutoCreate on its own, ready for your graphics and updated whenever your schedule changes. Setup takes just a few minutes.

 

Copy Your iCal Link from Eventlink

Eventlink can generate an iCal feed of your school's athletics calendar.

  1. Log in to Eventlink.
  2. Navigate to your main calendar page.
  3. Click the Menu and select Export All Subscriptions for composite or the specific team you want.
  4. A new tab will open with the URL showing in the address bar.
  5. Copy the iCal link.

 

Gipper Tip!

  • Eventlink links may start with webcal:// and include a long string of letters and numbers. That's expected, and the link works with Gipper. Treat it like a password and only share it with people who should see the schedule.

 

Add the Link to Gipper

  1. In Gipper, click AutoCreate in the left sidebar, then open the Calendars tab.
  2. Click Add iCal under Personal (visible just to you) or Workspace (visible to everyone in your Workspace; Admins only).
  3. Name your calendar (for example, "All Athletics"), paste your Eventlink link, and click Continue.
  4. Preview your events, then click Add events.

Gipper Tip!

  • Your iCal link is a live feed, so schedule changes in Eventlink sync to Gipper automatically. You can also click Refresh calendar in Gipper anytime for an instant update.
