Why LeagueMinder Takes an Extra Step
Gipper AutoCreate builds your schedule graphics automatically from a connected calendar. For most scheduling platforms, that means pasting in a live calendar link (called an iCal URL) and you're done.
LeagueMinder works a little differently. The calendar links that LeagueMinder provides are not currently compatible with AutoCreate, so pasting a LeagueMinder link directly into Gipper won't work. Our team is actively investigating how to make AutoCreate compatible with LeagueMinder links, and we'll update this article as soon as a direct connection is available.
In the meantime, you can still get your LeagueMinder schedule into Gipper by using a free Google Calendar as a bridge: you'll bring your LeagueMinder schedule into a Google Calendar, then connect that Google Calendar to Gipper.

Set Up Your Google Calendar Bridge
Download Your Schedule from LeagueMinder
- In LeagueMinder, navigate to the schedule you want to bring into Gipper.
- Go to admin account and select Administration tab in the left navbar
- Under Integrations, select Generate ICAL
- Under "Download iCal File" select the event type and the time frame
- Select "GO"
- Save the downloaded calendar file (it will end in .ics) somewhere you can find it, like your desktop.
Create a Dedicated Google Calendar
- Go to calendar.google.com on a computer and sign in.
- In the top right corner, click the Settings gear, then click Settings.
- In the left menu, click Add calendar > Create new calendar.
- Name it something clear, like LeagueMinder Schedule, and click Create calendar.

Import Your Schedule File
- Still in Google Calendar Settings, click Import & export in the left menu.
- Click Select file from your computer and choose the .ics file you downloaded from LeagueMinder.
- Under Add to calendar, choose the new calendar you just created (by default Google picks your primary calendar, so double-check this one).
- Click Import. Your LeagueMinder events now live in your Google Calendar.
Connect Your Calendar to Gipper
- In Google Calendar Settings, click the name of your new calendar in the left menu.
- Click Integrate calendar, then find Secret address in iCal format and copy it.
- In Gipper, go to AutoCreate, open your calendar settings, and paste in the secret address you copied.
- Save. Gipper will pull in your schedule, and your AutoCreate graphics will build from it going forward.

Keeping Your Schedule Up to Date
This is the part to know before you rely on this setup. Because your schedule came over as a file rather than a live link, Google Calendar has no ongoing connection to LeagueMinder.
- Changes made in LeagueMinder (new games, reschedules, cancellations) will NOT appear in your Google Calendar automatically, which means they won't appear in your Gipper graphics either.
- When your schedule changes, you have two options:
- Edit the events directly in your Google Calendar.
- Download a freshics file from LeagueMinder and re-import it into the same calendar using the import steps above.
- If duplicate events appear, delete and recreate the calendar before re-importing.
- We recommend making a quick calendar check part of your routine any time your LeagueMinder schedule changes, so your graphics stay accurate.
We know this isn't the seamless experience we want for you, and it's not the long-term plan. Our team is working on direct LeagueMinder compatibility, and this article will be updated the moment you can paste your LeagueMinder link straight into Gipper.
