How to Sync Your PrestoSports Schedule to Gipper

Connect PrestoSports to Gipper with an iCal link, and your games and events flow into AutoCreate automatically, always up to date, with nothing to re-type.

How It Works

If your athletics website runs on PrestoSports, you never have to type a game into Gipper again, and you don't need admin access to set it up. PrestoSports can hand you an iCal link, which is a live feed of your schedule. You paste that link into Gipper once, and from then on every game and event syncs into AutoCreate on its own, ready for your graphics and updated whenever your schedule changes. Setup takes just a few minutes.

 

PrestoSports athletics websites can export schedules as iCal feeds from the public site:

  1. Go to your athletics website and open the schedule you want to sync. For your full athletics schedule, open the composite calendar page (the all-sports schedule). For one team, open that team's schedule page.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the schedule page and find the Subscribe or iCal link.
  3. Copy the link by right-clicking it and choosing to copy the link address.

 

  1. In Gipper, click AutoCreate in the left sidebar, then open the Calendars tab.
  2. Click Add iCal under Personal (visible just to you) or Workspace (visible to everyone in your Workspace; Admins only).
  3. Name your calendar (for example, "All Sports"), paste your PrestoSports link, and click Continue.
  4. Preview your events, then click Add events.

Gipper Tip!

  • Your iCal link is a live feed, so schedule changes in PrestoSports sync to Gipper automatically. You can also click Refresh calendar in Gipper anytime for an instant update.

 

Troubleshooting: PrestoSports Calendar Won't Load

Some school athletics websites use security settings that can prevent calendar apps from reading schedule links. If your PrestoSports iCal link is correct but AutoCreate shows an error that your calendar can't be loaded, this may be the cause.

How to Get Help Connecting Your Calendar

  1. Copy your PrestoSports iCal link (it usually ends in **?print=ical**).
  2. Email the link to our team at **support@gogipper.com**, along with the name of your school.
  3. We'll look into your link and follow up with the next steps for your site.
