This article walks through how to get started with setting up your Gipper Touch site for the first time, with a focus on building and editing your homepage.

Accessing Your Touch Site
Once your Touch site has been added to your workspace:
- Click Displays in the left-hand navigation.
- You’ll see a list of all Touch site in your workspace.
- From here, you can view whether an site is published or unpublished.
- You can also manage collaborators by inviting other workspace users to help edit the site.
Creating Your Experience
If this is your very first time setting up Touch, click directly on My Experience to begin.
- Enter the name of the site. This is the name that will appear when the site is opened in a web browser.
- Your logos and colors will automatically pull from your workspace branding.
- You can edit or replace these branding elements at any time if desired.
- Click Continue to create your site.
Once created, you’ll be taken directly to your homepage.

Understanding the Editor Layout
Before editing, it’s helpful to familiarize yourself with the layout:
- Right side: The Touch site (canvas)
- Left side: The editing section, where you’ll make updates
- Top left toolbar: Navigation tabs for accessing the editor, directory pages, and global style options.
All Pages Tab
- Provides an overview of all pages in your site
- Functions like a clickable table of contents
- Allows you to navigate pages or click directly on the canvas
Styles Tab
Controls global settings that apply across the entire Touch site, including:
- Titles and logos
- Colors and fonts
- Background image settings
- Background image alignment and display
Any changes here apply across all pages.
Editor Tab
Where most edits will take place in your site
Editing your Homepage
The homepage is the first thing people see when they approach your touchscreen.
Choosing a Homepage Layout
You have two layout options:
- 1-Column Layout: Background image, logo, and welcome text

2-Column Layout: Adds a media section on the right side, allowing you to display images, videos, or a slideshow on the homepage itself
- This layout lets you use your touchscreen as both an interactive and informational tool.
You can switch layouts by clicking Edit Page Layout in the editor.
Setting your Background Media
For the homepage background, you can choose between:
- Image
- Video
- Slideshow (up to 12 images)
If you’ve already set a background image in the Styles section, it will automatically apply. You can always replace it by:
- Uploading a new file
- Selecting from your gallery
- Using a saved design
- Creating a new design

Adding Media as Featured Content
To update the media section on the homepage:
- Click directly on the media area on the canvas.
- Use the left-hand editor to adjust aesthetic elements such as frame color, opacity, and blur.
- Select the content type you’d like to display.
Supported media types include:
- Image
- Video
- Slideshow (up to 12 images)
- Website iframe
- Embedded code
- PDF file
Editing Text, Logos, and Buttons
Logos
- Click directly on the logo to replace or update it.
- Workspace branding is applied automatically, but customization is always available.
Text
- Click directly on text on the canvas to edit
- Or update text using the left-hand editing panel
Text formatting options include:
- Font and font size
- Bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough
- Text color, alignment, and spacing

- Click the widget directly to edit it
- Customize button text, icon color, and button color
