Unboxing and plugging in your Elo Backpack
See below for details on unboxing your Elo backpack and understanding the various ports and cables, as well as an action item of sending a photo of the serial number on your elo backpack! This will also go through initial plugin steps. Keep in mind that this may need to be done in unison while mounting your touchscreen and backpack, or the ports on both devices need to be accessible if they’re already mounted.
Please keep in mind, this does not include detailed instructions on wall mounting your devices. We would recommend consulting your facilities/maintenance supervisors, technology coordinators, etc. for assistance with wall mounting!

Some school and district networks have these domains blocked, so please share the below article with your IT/Tech team so they can whitelist them to ensure proper operation!

Plugging in your Elo Backpack to a touchscreen
Please reference the images above for guidance when completing the following steps:

- Connect an HDMI cable from the Elo Backpack to the HDMI port on the touchscreen
- Note: Elo recommends using an HDMI cable that is rated 2.0 or higher
- Connect the USB Type A to Type B cable from the Elo Backpack to the touchscreen
- Note: not all Elo backpacks will come with an HDMI cable and a USB A to B cable, so you may need to obtain them. Please consult your IT/tech team when obtaining these cables.
