Resizing Your Download to Exact Pixel Dimensions
| Coming Soon: We're building the ability to select your exact download dimensions directly inside Gipper. Once that's available, you won't need to use an external tool at all. We'll update this article when the feature launches. |
In most cases, you won't need this step. Your scoreboard software will handle the sizing automatically as long as the aspect ratio is correct. However, if your software requires a file with specific pixel dimensions, you can easily resize the downloaded image using a tool you may already have.
Here are a few options:
- Apple Preview (free, built into every Mac): Open the image, go to Tools > Adjust Size, and enter your dimensions.
- Microsoft Paint (free, built into every Windows PC): Open the image, click Image > Resize, switch to Pixels, and enter your dimensions.
- iLoveIMG (free, browser-based): Upload your image, enter your dimensions, and download the resized version. No account required.
- Image Resizer (free, browser-based): Another simple option for quick resizing right in your browser.
- Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Express: If you already have Adobe tools, open the image and resize using the image size settings.
Steps to resize (general workflow):
- Open your downloaded image in your preferred resizing tool.
- Enter the exact pixel dimensions required by your scoreboard software.
- Export or save the resized image.
- Upload the resized file into your scoreboard software.
