Connect your social media accounts

Gipper allows all users to connect social media accounts via the "Settings" page, which enables the publishing and scheduling of graphics from within Gipper.

Settings page

Once logged into your account, you will want to click on the Setting icon in the top left corner of the page. This will bring up the setting for your account, and you will see the area designated for your social connections.

Adding accounts

You can add Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter/X accounts from here—there is an "Add Accounts" button to the right of each platform icon.

Facebook

You will have the option to link your Facebook Page to Gipper. However, the Facebook account must be set up as a Page.

Once you have this done, you can move on to connecting the accounts to your Gipper profile!

1. Click "Add Account" next to Facebook
2. Choose between a Personal Page and a Business Portfolio (see the video above for more info)
3. Log into Facebook account
4. Follow linking prompts
5. Ensure all permissions are granted to Gipper

If the connection works, you will be redirected to Gipper with confirmation.

Instagram

You will have the option to link your Instagram Business Account to Gipper. However, the Instagram account must be set to a Business Account and linked to a Facebook Page. Meta has put these regulations in place to authenticate users.

Once you have this done, you can move on to connecting the accounts to your Gipper profile!

1. Click "Add Account" next to Instagram
2. Choose between a Personal Page and a Business Portfolio (see the video above for more info)
3. Log into Facebook account
4. Follow linking prompts
5. Ensure all permissions are granted to Gipper

If the connection works, you will be redirected to Gipper with confirmation.

Twitter/X

When you click the "Add Account" button, it will bring you right to the Twitter log in page, where you will need to input your Twitter/X Username and Password. Click sign-in to finalize the process.

If the connection works, you will be redirected to Gipper with confirmation.

Once your accounts are connected, you will see all your social media accounts you selected and their handle under Personal Social Media Accounts. You can now publish or schedule graphics posts to these accounts.
