Find a Template in the Create Tab
When you open the app, you'll see five tabs along the bottom of your screen: Create, Designs, Gallery, Planner, and More. The Create tab is where you find a Template to edit.
- Tap Create at the bottom of your screen.
- Search for a keyword at the top. For example, searching "game day" shows all of Gipper's game day graphics.
- Narrow things down with the filters if you'd like. You can filter by use case (athletic, school, and digital boards), as well as by Pack, category, sport, and format.
- You can also scroll down to browse sections like your favorites and recently added Templates.
- Tap the Template you want to open.
- Pick a format. Portrait is the recommended format for all in-feed posts on social media.
Edit Your Graphic
Once you pick a format, the editor opens. The navigational tabs along the bottom of the editor match the left side editing section on desktop, so everything lives where you'd expect.
Apply Your Branding
- Tap Branding.
- Apply your Workspace brand. If you need to switch to a personal brand instead, you can do that here as well.
See our article on Branding for details.
Add and Adjust Photos
- Tap Media to see the photo, logos, and any additional media fields in your Template. You can also add more images and logos from here.
- Tap a photo field, then choose where the image comes from. You can upload from your device (your phone's photo library, which is great for photos you just took at a game) or pull from your Gipper Gallery.
- To reposition the image, tap it on the Canvas and drag it where you want it.
- To resize, drag the blue dots on the corners to make it bigger or smaller.
With an image selected, the toolbar at the top of the Canvas lets you crop, apply effects, update transparency, add a drop shadow, remove the background, align, arrange, and more. You'll also see Delete and Duplicate buttons.

Publish to Social Media or Gipper Display
- Tap the publish button.
- Choose the linked social media accounts you want to post to. (For a walkthrough of linking your accounts, see our article on [Connecting Social Media Accounts].)
- Add a caption, and add alt text if you'd like.
- Add additional photos or graphics if you want. Posts can include up to four attachments.
- Publish now or schedule the post for later.
If you use Gipper Display, you can also publish the graphic to any of your slideshows from here.
Designs, Gallery, Planner, and More
Tap the home icon to head back to the home page, where the rest of the bottom tabs live.
Designs
The Designs tab is where your Saved Designs are stored, and it powers one of the best workflows in the app: build a final score graphic on your desktop while you're in the office, then open it on your phone on the bus ride home. Tap the design, update the score in the Text section, hit Done, swap in a photo you took at the game if you'd like, and publish or download it on the spot. Tap the three-dot menu and Save to keep your changes.
Gallery
The Gallery tab is your Gipper Gallery. You can upload photos here straight from your phone, which is handy when you take a bunch of photos at an event and want them ready to use on your desktop later.
Planner
The Planner tab shows your published and upcoming posts. You'll mostly use it to check upcoming posts, and you can edit or cancel them if plans change. The plus button lets you create a post just like you would on desktop.
More
The More tab is where you can update your profile and password, view Gipper's privacy policies, and access the Help Center.
