If you're new to Gipper and want a quick overview of the "Gallery" feature, this getting started tutorial is for you!
"Your Gallery" is where all of your media is stored - this includes photos, logos, and videos. Any new media that you upload from your device to a template will be stored here. You can also upload media directly to Your Gallery. You get access to Your Gallery when editing a template, so it can be beneficial to upload photos, logos, and videos here ahead of time. Additionally, you can also share media with your Teams from Your Gallery.
This is a fairly quick read for you and we've thrown in some videos along the way. The Tutorial will cover the following topics:
How to upload media to Your Gallery and use it on a template:
Your Gallery allows you to have your media stored in one, central location. You can upload and delete as many files as you'd like; however, they must be in one of the following file formats - PNG, JPEG, MP4(for videos). You can also create folders to organize your media further.
Here is a quick article that explains how to upload media and use it on a template.
How to share media:
Sharing media files/folders is helpful to maintain brand consistency across all your invited users by giving them access to photos, logos, and videos. Once done, all the Team members will see the shared files in their accounts to use.
Note: To share media files, you must first have a Team set up. Here's a quick article that'll help you set up a Team.
How to view media:
You can learn more about viewing your media(photos/videos), here.
Gipper Tips and Tricks:
- To organize your media better, we highly recommend uploading them into folders. We suggest creating a folder labeled "Logos" to store all of your institution's logos in one place. This will streamline your editing workflow by having quick access to your official logos when working on a template. Additionally, we recommend only using transparent logos - logos that do not have a background or box behind them. If you don't have a transparent logo, feel free to check out this tool!
- While you are free to upload as many media files as you'd like, we also offer stock images that you can use and are readily available in Your Gallery. This is particularly helpful in situations where you'd want to promote a game or an event but don't have a high-quality image for it.
- To easily locate your photos/logos/videos while editing, we recommend changing the name of the file to a more searchable name. This will help you save time by simply searching for it in the editing section rather than manually scrolling through all files.
