Cutout photo fields are specifically designed for images without backgrounds, also known as cutouts. Cutouts can be resized, rotated, and moved anywhere on the canvas to create contrast in your design.
Look for cutout photo fields in the Coastal and Cobalt Packs on the template dashboard!
Can I upload a cutout to any template?
Yes! Upload a cutout in the template editing section from the Cutout Photo field if shown (see image above) OR from the Sponsor Logo field if a Cutout Photo field is not shown. Although the sponsor logo is primarily used for sponsorship to drive revenue, it can also be a great way to add an extra image to the canvas. For this option, scroll to Advanced Options > Hide Sponsor Logo > Upload Media/Browse Gallery.
How do I create a cutout?

(An in-platform background removal feature for cutouts is coming soon!)
Gipper Tips & Tricks:
- Cutout fields are best suited for cutouts. We do not recommend uploading a regular photo with a background to the cutout field, as that will take up the entire template space instead of fitting within the photo field.
- Cutout files must be PNG. The platform currently does not accept non-standard image formats like GIF, PSD, etc.
