- Text alignment
Typing on Gipper
-
On-canvas typing: To edit text on the canvas, you can simply click any text box on the template and type and/or delete any info like you normally would. Here is a quick video that will walk you through this.
-
Editing section typing: You can edit text via the editing section on the platform. You will find this to the left of the canvas. Simply scroll to the corresponding text field and enter your desired text. Here is a video that will help you understand this feature.
Resize, Reposition, and Rotate elements
- With Gipper 2.0, you can now directly resize a picture from the canvas. To do this, you can simply click on the picture and drag the bubbles around the perimeter outwardly to zoom in and inwardly to zoom out.
- To reposition an element to a desired location, you can simply click the element and drag it. Additionally, if you’re moving a text box, you can also click the cross option on the right and drag to any location on the canvas. You can also follow the coordinates to help you find a suitable position.
- To rotate an element you first have to click it on the canvas. Once you click, you’ll see a rotate option on the top on the top of the element and rotate it sideways to a desired location.
NOTE- If you hold shift while rotating, the degree of rotation will increment by
45 degrees.
Here is a brief walkthrough of these features.
Using fonts
If you want to change the font of any editable text field, you can simply do so by visiting the editing section of the template. Select the text field, and click the arrow down button on any text field and choose a desired font from the drop down menu. Here is a brief walkthrough of this feature
Note: If your font is not in the drop down menu, you will have to first upload it. This article will help you understand how to upload a font.
How to save colors
There are 2 ways in which you can save your brand colors on the Gipper platform.
- Saving Colors via settings: You can go to the settings page on the platform, and enter the hex code of your color in the "“Save Your Colors" section. You can now access these colors in the editing section while designing your graphic.
- Saving colors while editing: You can directly save colors while editing a template using the Eyedropper tool.
It can be used in two ways:
- It changes color of any element when selected
- When nothing is selected, the tool extracts color with color code. You can now - a) directly save it to saved color or b) copy hex code to clipboard

Editing section drop shadow
The drop shadow effect allows you to darken/soften a text field, image or a logo which results in a shadow effect giving the impression that the element is raised above the elements behind it.
Here is a quick video that explains this feature in detail.
Editing section spacing
Kerning (horizontal spacing) allows you to adjust the spacing between characters to create a more comfortable looking typography.
Leading (vertical spacing) allows you to change the vertical spacing between two or more lines of text, which helps with readability and makes the text visually appealing.
Here is a brief walkthrough of this feature.
Text alignment
The text alignment tool allows you to horizontally align text on a graphic either on the left, center or right. You will find this tool in the editing section of any text field of any template. Simply choose your preference of how you’d like the text to be placed - left, center or right and that’s it - your text is aligned!
Here is a brief walkthrough of this feature.
