Saving your team colors on Gipper helps you save time and easily input your school’s colors anytime you’re creating a graphic. This feature allows you to keep your branding consistent across all designs, helping your feed look more professional. It’s also super helpful when creating graphics on your mobile device, making the design process seamless!
This can be done in two ways:
- Saving colors in the settings page
- Saving colors while editing
1. Saving colors in the settings page
In case you'd prefer to watch rather than read, here a quick video that will help you understand this in detail:
Step 1: Saving Your Colors
On the Gipper platform, you can save your team’s colors in the Settings menu. To access settings, just simply click the gear button in the top left corner of the platform as shown below.
Once you are in the Settings menu, scroll down to the section labeled “Your Colors,” as shown in the image below:
Step 2: Editing a Design
Now that your colors are saved, all you have to do is open a graphic you want to edit, scroll down to the color bar, and your saved colors will appear just below the palette! Shown in the image below:
2. Saving colors while editing
You can directly save colors while editing a template using the Eyedropper tool.
In case you'd prefer to watch rather than read, here a quick video that will help you understand this in detail:
Once you are on a template and have an element of which you want to save the color of, click the eye dropper tool (top left of the screen). This tool allows you to pick and choose a color once you move your cursor towards the element and click it. It can be used in two ways:
- It changes color of any element when selected
- When nothing is selected, the tool extracts color with color code. You can now - a) directly save it to saved color or b) copy hex code to clipboard
And that's it! If you've directly saved it to your colors, it will appear in the editing section of any template!
